2020 Call for proposals is opened!

On the 2nd of April the European Commission has launched its LIFE programme 2020 call. On 2020 more than €450 million intended for nature conservation, environmental protection and climate action projects. LIFE programme finances integrated, pilot, demonstration, information, awareness and dissemination projects with environmental or climate change problem actual for Europe.

This year is easier to apply because of extended deadlines by one month, support to start-ups companies, financial support to third parties as part of a LIFE traditional project.

How to apply for LIFE programme funding?

The European Commission is organising a virtual Information Day on the 2020 LIFE call for project proposals. The registration is open until 25th of April 2020.

2020 Call for Climate proposals was closed

The call for LIFE Climate Action sub-programme projects ended in 6th of October 2020. 258 proposals were submitted from across the European Union. It is 55 percent more than last year. In total, these projects are looking to invest more than € 978 million, and they are requesting € 498 million from the LIFE programme. The authors of the successfully submitted proposals will be informed on January of 2021.

The call for LIFE Environment sub-program projects ended in 2020 14th and 16th of July. More than 1500 concepts were submitted.

New LIFE Call for Proposals is coming!

It is planned to announce a new LIFE application deadline on the 2nd of April this year, together with an updated guidelines for LIFE program applicants and priority areas for Climate Action sub-projects.
